Totoro and Chibi were the products of the TCA grant that Marc secured for Simpson Taiko. The grant provided funding to produce a video showing Marc’s procedures for building two taiko drums from one wine barrel. The project was a success, Totoro and Chibi are in active use, and the video as been used by other groups to build their taiko inventory. The PDF below shows all the steps included in the video.
