Marc’s first nagado-style drum. It was a restoration project–the head had dried and split and staves were separating. The process was:

• Realign and stabilize the staves
• Reinforce the rims with carbon fiber
• Replaces the heads using the procedures shown in Marc’s taiko-making video (available here as a PDF)
